Read below for information on each show, its location, how to attend and the most convenient West Hollywood hotels to stay in during your visit.

    People’s Choice Awards – January 9th

    Golden Globes – January 13th

See – For the past 52 years, the Golden Globe Awards have been held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, the next city over from West Hollywood. This year, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be hosting the gala for what is sure to be a night of laughter and glamour. The ceremony kicks off at 5 p.m. in the International Ballroom of the hotel.

Stay – Didn’t get in to that official afterparty? No worries – you can still celebrate your great night at the Mondrian hotel. Home to renowned hotspot Skybar, the poolside bars, delicious food from Asia de Cuba and cabanas overlooking the LA skyline and Hollywood Hills will let you party the night away in style. The hotel itself is both fun and young, decorated in orange and white with decor reminiscent of modern artist Piet Mondrian.

Producer’s Guild of America Awards – January 26th

See – If you’re a producer in Hollywood, this is YOUR event. The Producers Guild is a prestigious organization that determines which producers are eligible to have the “P.G.A.” certification next to their names in credits. The annual awards show, held this year on January 26 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, honors those producers who have presented outstanding work this year. For us movie and TV buffs, the PGA Awards are an exciting opportunity to recognize the people behind the scenes who make our favorite movies happen!

Stay – Once home to Charlie Chaplin, Marilyn Monroe and Gloria Swanson, The Charlie Hotel is now open to travelers in the know. Charlie Chaplin was not only a comedic actor in silent films, but was also an accomplished composer and director. Your appreciation of the behind-the-scenes talent and the PGA Awards makes The Charlie the perfect hotel for you! Choose from 14 private bungalows all named after Old Hollywood elite: Clark, Gloria, Betty, Gregory, Marilyn and more.

Screen Actors Guild Awards – January 27th

See – The Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) Union represents over 165,000 actors, broadcasters, hosts, journalists, dancers, DJs, writers, editors, singers and more. For the past 19 years, the SAG Awards have been held to honor the best of the best in the Guild. On January 27, 2013, the 19th annual ceremony will be hosted at the Shrine Auditorium & Exposition Center in Downtown Los Angeles, where Dick Van Dyke will accept the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.

Stay – Sunset Tower Hotel on Sunset Boulevard. Sunset Tower is home to over 80 years of Hollywood history, and was built at about the same time that the SAG and AFTRA Hollywood unions were formed, in the political turmoil of the 1930s. The 15-story hotel is considered to be an art deco landmark. You’ll not only have the chance to stay in a suite that Marilyn Monroe, Howard Hughes, Elizabeth Taylor or Frank Sinatra once frequented, but you’ll also have access to the Tower Bar and restaurant, which sees dozens of modern celebrities every day. Unwind the next morning after the exciting SAG Awards with lunch at the Terrace poolside cafe, the Salon and Spa and heated outdoor pool.
