dineLA Restaurant Week – West Hollywood Participating Restaurants

    By: Brittany Nicole La Hue

West Hollywood is known for its fine dining, from celebrity chefs like Gordon Ramsay to multi-venue establishments such as The Palm and five-star hotel restaurants. It can be difficult to choose! Luckily, dineLA Restaurant Week (January 21-February 1) understands. The 12-day dining event showcases particular restaurants in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and all the surrounding neighborhoods, which in turn serve specially priced prix-fixe menus so you can explore the best that each restaurant has to offer. Treat a loved one (or yourself) to one of the delicious West Hollywood fine dining experiences listed below!

    Asia de Cuba

8440 Sunset Boulevard West Hollywood, CA 90069

Asia de Cuba, the Mondrian hotel’s signature restaurant, is the place to see and be seen. With giant terra cotta flower pots throughout the patio to make a private dining experience, and views of Skybar and the Los Angeles skyline, you’ll be blown away before you even try the food! Try Asia de Cuba’s Asian-Latin fusion cuisine for just $25 at lunch and $45 at dinner. Although the restaurant is best known for its calamari salad, the prix-fixe menu will allow you to broaden your taste bud horizons a bit and enjoy dishes such as honey-rum glazed pot roast of pork and tuna ipca.

    BLT Steak

8720 Sunset Boulevard West Hollywood, CA 90069

What happens when you mix French culinary techniques, New York chefs and West Hollywood? You get BLT Steak, self-proclaimed “steakhouse bliss” restaurant that serves exquisite steaks and seafood with fresh vegetables and special spices. For just $45 this Restaurant Week, you’ll indulge in a three-course meal with offerings such as flat iron steak frites, wild caught steelhead, roasted winter vegetables, smoked asparagus agnolotti, duck fat fries and dulce de leche filled doughnuts with Tahitian vanilla cream.

9200 Sunset Boulevard West Hollywood, CA 90069

With a prime selection of steaks, chops, poultry and seafood, you are sure to find something to indulge in at BOA Steakhouse. The modern décor is accented by water and fire elements and there is a display of one of the largest privately owned collections of rare international liquors. Cafe La Boheme

8400 Santa Monica Boulevard West Hollywood, CA
    323.848.2360 90069

    Comme Ça

8479 Melrose Avenue West Hollywood, CA 90069

For an authentic Parisian bistro experience, minus the plane ticket and hotel room, head to Comme Ça. David Myers, award-winning chef, has combined traditional French cuisine with modern tastes. Celebrate dineLA Restaurant Week with a $45 three-course meal featuring tarte flambée; onion soup; moules frites with fennel, aioli and celery; Alsatian pork sausage, steak frites with herb butter; vanilla crème brulée and tart tatin.

Gordon Ramsay at the London West Hollywood

You’ve watched him on television – now you can experience Gordon Ramsay’s Michelin-starred French cuisine for yourself. Gordon Ramsay at the London West Hollywood hotel is offering a $45 meal for dineLA Restaurant Week. Not only can you choose from delicacies like lamb belly, Tai snapper and braised beef shortribs with Yorkshire pudding, bacon and green beans, but the prix-fixe menu is vegetarian-friendly as well. You can also add on delicious fresh vegetable sides, whether or not you eat meat: broiled asparagus, roasted carrots with thyme, crisp Brussels sprouts and bread will complete your meal. Plus, no screaming Gordon Ramsay in the background.

8917 Sunset Boulevard West Hollywood, CA

If the menu at West Hollywood’s newest charcuterie house and wine bar overwhelms you, the Chef’s Tasting Menu will be a relief. For $45, you can try the authentic and artisanal options on the famous Sunset Strip. Chicken liver pate, smoked oyster mousse, warm goat cheese salad, beer sausage, Cornish hen and Gorge sausage are on the menu. Better yet, each option comes with an optional wine pairing, specifically selected to compliment the tastes of your dish.

8439 Sunset Boulevard West Hollywood, CA

At Katana, you’ll dine on delicious Japanese comfort food, enjoy tasty drinks at the 600-year-old redwood bar and people-watch in the 6,000-foot restaurant to make an experience you’ll never forget. The trendy sushi and robata bar is known for its combination of raw seafood with charcoal-grilled cuisine, such as filet mignon, Kobe beef, spicy tempura rolls and more. Try dineLA’s $45 dinner menu this January.
