Nighttime Swim

Every Wednesday night during the summer, the Mondrian Los Angeles held “Nighttime Swim” at Skybar and the pool deck. Special guest DJs, delicious drinks and weather that just begged you to jump in the pool made Skybar the place to be. Even though summer is over, you’re encouraged to continue to keep your Wednesday evenings free: the Mondrian is planning a new event for fall that you won’t want to miss! Details to come soon.

Endless Summer

If you have real-world obligations Wednesdays, you can still hang with the cool kids Fridays at Skybar at the Mondrian hotel. Every Friday from 4 pm to 8 pm, experience Endless Summer: you’ll snag $5 cocktails, $5 appetizers and $5 valet parking to celebrate the end of the work week and the beginning of what is sure to be an epic West Hollywood weekend.

The London West Hollywood

Over the summer, The London West Hollywood threw weekly rooftop soirees featuring cocktails galore and Gordon Ramsay appetizers. Now it’s fall and we’re back in the real world – but The London is still dedicated to making weekdays fun! Every day from 2:30 to 4:30 pm, enjoy Afternoon Tea on the rooftop pool deck, featuring Gordon Ramsay teas, scones, canapés, tea sandwiches and a collection of cakes. If you’re looking to unwind from a long morning, try the Champagne Afternoon Tea, and enjoy all the delectable sweets listed above, plus some bubbly. Once the weather drops, the fire pits near the cabanas will keep you warm and toasty.

The Standard Hollywood

All summer long, The Standard Hollywood threw weekend pool parties which were open to hotel guests and the public. With such creative names as “Splashdance,” “A Gentleman’s Musical Day Swim ” and “Just Be Cool,” the pool deck was always the place to see and be seen. Summer may be over, but don’t let the fun stop! The Standard Hollywood still hosts Desert Nights every Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm. This weekly acoustic music series takes place in the hotel’s Cactus Lounge, adjacent to the pool deck. Listen to the tunes while bobbing in the water, or stay warm and dry inside the lounge with a stiff drink. We dare you to jump in after the show!

Sunset Marquis Hotel & Villas

Considering the rock ‘n’ roll royalty that has graced the halls of Sunset Marquis Hotel, it’s no wonder that the hotel throws some pretty epic events. During the summer, the hotel hosted Live @ Sunset Marquis, which usually featured music by the Villa pool, a warm breeze and some delicious cocktails. Recently, John Varvatos and Monster Energy showed up to celebrate music, art and staying wide, wide awake. We’re looking forward to seeing what events Sunset Marquis comes up with this fall. You never know who you might be sharing a poolside seat with at Sunset Marquis!
