LOS OTROS Comes to the Mark Taper Forum

At least once, everyone feels like they are part of los otros, which means “the others” in Spanish. LOS OTROS, a new type of musical from award-winning team Ellen Fitzhugh, Michael John LaChiusa, and Graciela Daniele, explores common bonds between people and features Tony Award-winning actress Michelle Pawk and actor Julio Monge.

You’ll experience 70 years of Southern California history in the story that also tracks lifetimes, cultures, love affairs, wars, common life experiences, and human mortality through dramatic staging and songs influenced by ‘40s swing music, Burt Bacharach pop, and traditional Mexican mariachi.
