Bored of the same old restaurants, stores and nightlife? There’s no need – several brand new venues have recently opened in West Hollywood. Read about them below and check them out!

Vignette

If you love champagne or whimsy, you’ll love Vignette. With champagne buckets, thick emerald curtains covering the windows, circular booths labeled “This End Up” and a giant chandelier, there will be plenty for your eyes to take in. West Hollywood’s newest lounge will also feature live entertainment and music.

Smoke

BRG’s newest project, Smoke steakhouse features California-inspired fine dining dishes, appetizers, wet and dry aged steaks and American entrees with a twist. The dining room has a rich interior of dark grays and blacks, granite tabletops and an attached lounge and bar area. It’s casual gathering in a luxury setting – just like West Hollywood. BRG co-founder Travis Lester says that the restaurant group “invested a great deal of thought and observation into the culture of West Hollywood and created the concept of Smoke to satisfy the tastes of WeHo’s discerning palates, while keeping true to the BRG style of entertaining.”

Gorge

GORGE is the perfect date night spot! The intimate charcuterie house and wine bar is located on The Sunset Strip, so you can fill your stomach with decadent food before hitting the town. A joint effort from Executive Chef/Owner Elia Aboumrad and Pastry Chef/Owner Uyen Nguyen features artisanal option from Red Snapper terrine to home-made sausages, in addition to traditional pastries like the Saint Honore. As if that wasn’t enough, Master Sommelier Darius Allyn will bring his expertise to GORGE’s bar.

Although the name may also refer to how much food you’ll take in during your dining experience, “GORGE” actually refers to an old French expression that soldiers used while running into battle, literally meaning “To the throat!”

Niche

The Niche client envisions their home to be modernist, harmonious, refined and comfortable. This designer interior and exterior showroom features items that are both couture and unique. Its founders have incorporated designers from all around the world in order to bring the customer products with design integrity and superior attention to detail.

Chop Stop

Chop Stop is the fastest, freshest place to go on your lunch break. Their goal is to create hearty and filling meals that are also healthy and good for your body and taste buds. A typical Chop salad weighs about a pound but is low in calories. Everything at the restaurant is pre-chopped, so you’ll be in and out quickly. Chop Stop also offers the option of customization – invent a salad, wrap, Chopurrito or soup from over 40 different ingredients.

Simply Vintageous 

Simply Vintageous was created by entertainment industry professional Beth LaMure in order to design a place where shoppers could find new, unique and fashionable items. In the 1990s, Beth began her own music video company and more recently has worked writing screenplays for movies. Throughout her time in the Hollywood industry, she accumulated fashionable items from movie sets, celebrities and wardrobe stylists. Now you have the opportunity to own something that no one else does!

Osteria Drago

Osteria Drago is Master Chef Celestino Drago’s newest creation. The restaurant takes a new look at classic Italian dining with new takes on Chef Drago’s world famous dishes. You’ll find contemporary cisine such as Lasagna Verde, bone in Prime New York Steak, antipastes, insalates and pastas amidst imported Italian interiors and chandeliers. Enjoy the world class wine selection in this perfect balance of casual luxury. Osteria Drago is located on The Sunset Strip.
