Hungry? You're in luck. West Hollywood is home to some of the most delicious dining in SoCal. From top chefs to celebrity owners and fine dining, you'll satisfy your stomach and your taste buds. Read below for Part 1 of our "Restaurant Roundup" series in which we detail the newest, hottest and yummiest restaurants in WeHo.
What's better than a Mexican restaurant with great drinks? Three floors of a Mexican restaurant with great drinks! Pink Taco Sunset Strip is the chain's newest location, and a trendy addition to WeHo's nightlife. You'll find every Mexican specialty dish, from tamales to quesadillas, fajitas, enchiladas, burritos and ensaladas. Of course, the highlight of your visit will be the house drinks. Pink Taco Sunset offers Blanco, Reposado, Aneja and Extra Aged Anejo tequilas, along with an extensive bar list.
Must-Order Dish: Fish tacos tacos, served with grilled mahi mahi, shredded green cabbage, jalepeno aioli, pico de gallo, serrano-cilantro sauce and guacamole. Oh, and of course, a pitcher of strong authentic margaritas.
In the mood for delicious seafood? Before, one had to drive all the way to Vegas. Luckily for us, Hot'N'Juicy Crawfish has now opened a location on the corner of Santa Monica and La Brea in West Hollywood. Choose from various types of seafood like crab, oysters, lobster, shrimp and, of course, crawfish. Then choose a seasoning like Louisiana Style, Lemon Pepper or Juicy Cajon. Then pick your spice level, from mild to extra spicy. Add on Cajon fries, potatoes, corn and more, and top it off with a cold beer.
Must-Order Dish: Crawfish...of course.
Literally housed in a former hardware store, Laurel Hardware now offers more delicious (and edible) items. The back garden and lounge make Laurel Hardware the perfect date-night venue, and the communal tables and bar seating make the restaurant perfect for an outing with a few friends or a large group. Snacks, small plates, fresh vegetables, surf'n'turf and creative takes on pizza will energize your taste buds.
Must-Order Dish: The yellow corn small plate always gets rave reviews. Made with truffle butter, parmesan reggiano and chives, you'll be tempted to skip the delicious entrees and keep the orders of yellow corn coming!
