    West Hollywood Celebrates The Emmys!

    The actual 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards may take place in Downtown LA, but it’s West Hollywood that gets to host all the fun pre and post-parties! This year, according to Hollywood Reporter, seven celebrations will take place in West Hollywood. Find out where they are and which of your favorite celebs will be in attendance!

     

    Celebrity-spotting hotspot Cecconi’s on the corner of Melrose Avenue and Robertson Boulevard held their Emmy kick-off celebration at the popular restaurant. Audi hosts this annual party, and this year fashion designer Derek Lam, who is also responsible for designing this year’s Emmy Greenroom, played co-host. Stars Melissa McCarthy, Julie Bowen, Cat Deeley, Rumer Willis, Brittany Snow, Eric Stonestreet, Ty Burrell and Emmy host Jane Lynch enjoyed cocktails, pizza, tortellini and sliders.

     

    Tonight, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences will be hosting its celebration at the Pacific Design Center (San Vicente & Melrose). This picture, taken earlier this week, shows just how much setup was involved to make sure that the PDC will be ready for the hordes of guests!

     

    Tomorrow morning, stars will be waking up early for brunches and tea. The London West Hollywood Hotel is the site of BAFTA/LA’s afternoon Emmys tea.

     

    The parties go into the night with John Legend performing for Showtime’s party at Tower Bar (inside the famed Sunset Tower Hotel on Sunset Boulevard), NBC packing BOA Steakhouse and the History Channel sponsoring a bash at SoHo House, all on The Sunset Strip in West Hollywood.

    Then it’s the big day! After a long day of red-carpet prep, photos, interviews and, of course, the ceremony itself, stars will be in need of a great afterparty and a stiff drink. Many celebs will return to the site that started this year’s revelry, Cecconi’s, for Comedy Central’s official afterparty. Others will head back to the Pacific Design Center plaza for HBO’s famous afterparty.
