GORGE, an intimate charcuterie house and wine bar is located on the famous Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. Executive Chef and Owner, Elia Aboumrad (Top Chef All-star), uses time honored techniques to bring together an array of artisanal options to a strictly charcuterie based menu. Assortments range from house-made sausages to fromage de tete to Red Snapper terrine. Along similar classic lines, the dessert menu pays homage to the traditional pastry known as “Saint Honoré”. Pastry Chef and Owner, Uyen Nguyen, will offer her take on the timeless pastry with a selection of seasonal flavors. Additionally, the beverage program will be hand-tailored by Master Sommelier, Darius Allyn, 1 of merely 186 professionals worldwide awarded this prestigious title. Whether it is wine, beer or a cocktail, each menu item will be accompanied by a suggested beverage pairing carefully chosen to further enhance the dining experience.

GORGE’s namesake comes from the old war expression, “A la gorge!”, once screamed by French soldiers running into battle. It literally means, “To the throat!.” It was adopted by militant kitchen brigades preparing themselves for serious service; their version of war.
