The last time comic and actor Craig Robinson, bassist Marcus Miller, and film producer Reginald Hudlin treated us to a night of the best film music of all time, the LA Sentinel said, “Just when you thought Black Movie Soundtrack could not get any better, it did.” Three years later, now collaborating with Derrick Hodge and Color of Noize Orchestra, they’re setting the bar even higher for the fifth edition. With special guests, film clips, and an incredibly deep well of music from which to draw, Black Movie Soundtrack V returns for another night of joyful, moving, and unforgettable music and film.
