Five exceptional works of art made between the 14th and 18th centuries in China, India, Korea, and Japan are displayed with European paintings and sculpture created around the same time. Asian artworks on loan from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) inspire intriguing dialogues around devotional images, landscape traditions, woodcarving techniques, portraiture, and the trade of luxury goods.
