20 West Hollywood Restaurants You Can’t Miss During Dine LA Restaurant Week

Now the largest restaurant week in the entire country, Dine LA Restaurant Week is celebrating its 15th anniversary October 6-20, 2023.



Dine LA is a true celebration of Los Angeles’s innovative and ever-evolving culinary scene. During the two-week event, local restaurants offer prix fixe dining experiences at discounted prices — a fantastic opportunity to experience many of the top restaurants in West Hollywood as well as lesser-known gems.

Want a taste of what to expect? Here’s a list of most participating West Hollywood restaurants as well as highlights from their Dine LA 2023 menus.

A.O.C.

Opened by James Beard Award-winning chefs Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne, A.O.C. is a trailblazing wine bar featuring an innovative menu of small plates and tapas-style dishes.

Dine LA Menu Highlight: Vanilla Bean French Toast — melt-in-your-mouth French toast topped with roasted pears, mascarpone and candied pecans.

B-Side Pizza

B-Side Pizza

Pizza, pints and a killer playlist are what you’ll find at B-Side Pizza, located inside the Sunset Strip’s iconic Hotel Ziggy. Their all-day fare includes classic breakfast dishes, juicy burgers, healthy-ish salads and some of the best pizza around Los Angeles.

Dine LA Menu Highlight: Hot Cheetos Mac N’ Cheese Balls — travel back to middle school when Hot Cheetos were a staple in your diet with this indulgent dish that’s served alongside B-Side’s signature beer cheese sauce.

From the creative mind of Michelin-starred chef Josiah Citrin, Charcoal is a buzzy new eatery inspired by the backyard barbecues Citrin often hosts for his family and friends. Just like Charcoal’s hugely popular sister property in Venice, the menu boasts locally sourced meats and produce that are expertly cooked over live fire.

Dine LA Menu Highlight: Treat yourself to the J-1 Marinated Prime Sirloin, but be sure to round things out with some veggies, like the Cabbage Baked in the Embers or Coal-Roasted Cauliflower.

Connie and Ted’s

Connie and Ted’s

Inspired by a great love story, Connie and Ted‘s is a Michelin-recommended West Hollywood institution and a hangout among locals. An homage to the founders’ New England roots, the restaurant features a wide array of seafood dishes, including lobster, fish and chips, and fried clams.

Dine LA Menu Highlight: Ed’s Portuguese Fish Stew — also on their all-day menu, this flavorful dish is filled with Manila clams, mussels, linguica sausage and the catch of the day (will vary).

Granville

A collection of modern-casual restaurants, Granville is a self-proclaimed “experiment in humanity” that fosters love, gratitude and integrity by offering warm hospitality and supporting local, organic and humane practices whenever possible. Their wholesome, hand-crafted recipes are globally inspired while also utilizing local produce.

Dine LA Menu Highlight: Wagyu Beef Stroganoff — a twist on the classic Russian dish, Granville serves their stroganoff alongside mushrooms, pappardelle, horseradish aioli and fried onions.

Izakaya Tora

Translating to “dine-in sake shop,” an izakaya is an informal Japanese bar, similar to a pub, that serves cocktails and light snacks. West Hollywood’s Izakaya Tora is no different. Their menu offers a variety of authentic Japanese and fusion dishes as well as sushi made with premium fish delivered fresh to the restaurant daily.

Created by the renowned Chef Atsushi Kenjo, La Bohème incorporates French and Japanese cuisine wrapped up in a farm-forward fine dining experience that is one of the hottest in West Hollywood.

Dine LA Menu Highlight: Burned Curry Eggplant Hummus — a delight for vegetarian and gluten-free foodies, this first-course option is served with Belgian endive and crispy potato chips.

A three-story restaurant with a rooftop lounge, MELROSEPLACE serves a variety of elevated new American dishes alongside handcrafted cocktails. As the name suggests, it’s located on Melrose Place, where you’ll find art galleries, designer boutiques and more just outside its doors.

Dine LA Menu Highlight: Miso Eggplant — for their second course, MELROSEPLACE has a great option for vegetarians: Japanese eggplant covered in saikyo miso atop seasoned rice.

Owned and operated by two couples — a team of four close friends — SUR is truly a labor of love. With each owner bringing their own unique expertise, they have been able to create one of the most cutting-edge and buzzed-about restaurants in West Hollywood.
