The lobby was inspired by David Collins’ (hotel interior designer) passion for jewelry, like the hanging mirrors inspired by Cartier watches. The signature scent in the public areas is called “Iconic Glamour” and includes notes of bergamot leaf, peach skin, white gardenia, orange flower and blond woods. Behind the desk is a one-of-a-kind wall tapestry inspired by star maps with vintage Hollywood landmarks from Malibu to DTLA — the gold star representing LWH at the center of it all! Original cast-bronze gates by L.A. artist Charles Fine mark the entrance to the Porte Cochere. The gate design is inspired by the lead tracery in stained glass in Gothic churches throughout England.
