From the Vanderpump crew to the Kardashians, get a taste of the drama and glamor of your favorite reality shows at these LA restaurants, bars and venues.

Lisa Vanderpump's SUR Restaurant & Lounge

West Hollywood has been the backdrop for countless reality TV moments. That’s because several hit reality shows regularly film in the area, including Vanderpump Rules, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Selling Sunset and Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Want to relive your favorite show’s most iconic moments? Check out these reality TV hangouts in West Hollywood.

SUR

Let’s be honest, there’s only one place this list could begin: SUR. Co-owned by restaurateur and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG cast member Lisa Vanderpump, SUR was first introduced to audiences in season 2. It later became the setting for its own reality show, Vanderpump Rules, following the lives and loves of the restaurant’s staff. Although none of the primary cast works there now, it’s still occasionally featured on the show. If you’re a Bravo fan, grabbing a resy at this now-iconic restaurant is a must.

Longtime fans may be wondering about PUMP, one of Lisa Vanderpump’s other West Hollywood restaurants. Formerly located around the corner from SUR on Santa Monica Boulevard, PUMP closed its doors in summer 2023. However, SUR now serves the famous PUMP brunch, and the original sign can be seen at TomTom.

TomTom

Opened in 2018 by the two Toms of Vanderpump Rules, Sandoval and Schwartz, this bar and restaurant quickly became the cast’s go-to hangout. You’ll have a pretty good shot at spotting a Vanderpump regular, or, if you’re really lucky, stumbling into a filming. The bar has been featured on RHOBH, too. If you go, be sure to order a round of Pumptinis — it’s practically a West Hollywood rite of passage at this point.

La Boheme

This hotspot in the same ’hood as SUR and TomTom is one of the most popular restaurants in Los Angeles, so it’s not too surprising it’s been featured on TV multiple times. La Boheme served as the backdrop for Raquel Leviss and Peter Madrigal’s memorably awkward date in Vanderpump season 10. It has also been featured on Basketball Wives and Love on the Spectrum.

Something About Her

Much of Vanderpump Rules season 10 revolved around the planning of Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney’s new sandwich shop, Something About Her, situated a block over from SUR. Now, you can finally romanticize lunch, with each creation named after a movie actress (think: The Meg, the Cameron, the Reese). The eatery’s May 22, 2024, grand opening saw long lines of fans waiting to step into the shop, which was decorated by the production designer behind films such as The Holiday and Something’s Gotta Give.

Craig’s

Upscale yet inviting, Craig’s has a reputation as one of the best places to spot celebs in Los Angeles, and that includes the reality variety. The past and present ladies of RHOBH — particularly Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, Erika Girardi and Kyle Richards — have dined here on multiple occasions, both on- and off-screen.

Gracias Madre

A block from Craig’s, Gracias Madre has popped up on RHOBH more than a few times, and was the location for the season 9 premiere party. Scenes from Selling Sunset have filmed at this trendy vegan Mexican restaurant, too.

Catch LA’s amazing rooftop is a celeb-magnet.

Catch LA

A Kardashian favorite, Catch is famous for its stunning rooftop, delicious cocktails and creative seafood dishes. In season 13 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kendall Jenner celebrated her 21st birthday here with a gaggle of celebrity guests that included Hailey Bieber, mom Kris and sisters Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and Kylie. The group then met up with Harry Styles at Delilah, also in WeHo, for the after-party.

LAVO Ristorante

With its camera-ready natural light streaming in through the ceiling and spacious half-moon booths, Lavo is a picture-perfect filming location. It was the backdrop for a girls’ dinner in season 7 of Selling Sunset, and star Emma Hernan divulged to The Hollywood Reporter that the cast frequents the restaurant off-camera, too. Even if you don’t spot a reality star, the coastal Italian cuisine is more than worth the visit.

The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker

The first time Selling Sunset’s Heather Rae El Moussa met Bre Tiesi (season 6), it was at this Aussie-inspired café in Sunset Plaza. BBCM (as it’s called for short) is best known for its eye-popping cappuccino art, but the food is low-key some of the best in town. The Bananas Foster French Toast gets raves, and there’s plenty for savory-lovers, too.

The swimming pool at Hotel Ziggy in West Hollywood, CA, is decorated with murals and lawn chairs.
It’s all about the music at Hotel Ziggy, where James Kennedy DJ’d on Vanderpump Rules.

Hotel Ziggy

The primary Vanderpump cast gathered here to see James Kennedy DJ in season 10. The gig was part of Ziggy Nights, a weekly performance series held at the hotel’s buzzy on-site restaurant, B Side. This music-centric hotel is one of the most unique stays on the Sunset Strip, and you can see live music here throughout the week — though we can’t promise it’ll be the new No. 1 Guy in the Group behind the turntables.

Skybar Los Angeles

A bright star in LA’s nightlife scene, Skybar has appeared on Vanderpump Rules so many times we’ve stopped counting. James is a regular, as is Tom Sandoval, and many non-Bravo celebrities hang out here as well. If you’re a fan of late nights and DJ sets, stay at the fabulous Mondrian and plan on spending several fun nights up on the roof at Skybar.

Olivetta is where Stassi Schroeder held her baby shower.

Olivetta

This lovely and very popular Mediterranean eatery was featured in season 4 of Selling Sunset. It’s also where Stassi Schroeder, formerly of Vanderpump Rules, held her baby shower with several castmates in attendance. The Melrose Avenue space has quite the star-studded history; it was formerly the site of Au Fudge, a kid-centric restaurant owned by Jessica Biel, and Olivetta is co-owned by Marissa Hermer, who starred in the Bravo reality series Ladies of London. NOTE: Olivetta is temporarily closed. Keep an eye on their website and socials for the most up-to-date info.

Rocco’s

Vanderpump stars Lala, Scheana and Brock sat down on the patio of Rocco’s in season 10 to smooth out tensions in their relationship. Located right at the iconic rainbow crosswalk at Santa Monica and San Vicente, this LGBTQ-friendly spot offers lunch, dinner and a drag brunch that shouldn’t be missed, plus its nightly bar scene and regular dance parties make it an excellent choice for a night out in Boystown.

E.P. & L.P.’s rooftop features great views of the Hollywood Hills.

E.P. & L.P.

This rooftop bar and restaurant is a perennial LA hotspot, which may have something to do with its multiple appearances on Selling Sunset. Whether you’re enjoying craft cocktails at the bar or an alfresco movie night at the adjoining Melrose Rooftop Theatre, it’s always a good idea to keep your eyes peeled for celebrities at E.P. & L.P.

Host your own tea party at The London — hopefully with less drama than the one on Selling Sunset.

The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills

Pinkies up! This luxury hotel on the border of WeHo and Beverly Hills is an Anglophile’s dream. Let the Union Jack flag wave you inside for a proper (but not too prim) afternoon tea, held Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The Selling Sunset cast attended one back in season 5, complete with fancy hats and plenty of drama.
