Available 24/7, these uniformed, unarmed ambassadors provide a visible presence throughout the city, working alongside local law enforcement while also offering a friendly point of contact for visitors. You’ll often see them on foot, on bikes or at kiosks in busy shopping, dining and park areas, where they’re happy to help with directions or general city information.
Security Ambassadors can assist with:
- In-person response to non-violent concerns at any time of day.
- Safety escorts for visitors, residents and businesses.
- Helpful guidance on directions, parking, transportation and local resources.
- On-site support at parks, commercial districts and special events.
Staffed kiosks are located along major corridors like Santa Monica Boulevard, as well as in popular parks including West Hollywood Park and Plummer Park. Hours vary by location.
Help is always just a call or text away via the Security Ambassador Hotline at 323-848-6500, available free of charge, 24/7.
