Picnic at West Hollywood Park

Grab lunch to-go from Strings of Life (S.O.L.), an Aussie-inspired all-day cafe. Try the Tansana Bowl with steamed rice, black beans and an array of veggies, or a roasted-turkey sammie with tomato chutney, gruyére cheese, arugula, avocado and a balsamic reduction. Then, take a 10-minute walk to West Hollywood Park and enjoy your lunch on the grassy lawn.

Explore the Design District

Fuel your creativity by strolling the mural-lined streets of West Hollywood’s Design District. View exhibits by trailblazing artists at Leica Gallery or Hauser & Wirth, one of the world’s premier contemporary art galleries. Day 2: Self-Care Saturday

Work Up a Sweat

West Hollywood is home to several of LA’s buzziest gyms. For something low-key, try a class at Hot Pilates. Each class is heated to 95 degrees and blends mat work, resistance tools and weights. At Barry’s WeHo, you’ll have the time of your life alongside flashy lights, booming music and seriously motivating trainers during a calorie-torching HITT workout. Afterward, stroll down to BodySpec inside Xeela Fitness and uncover your personal stats, like your lean-tissue or body-fat percentage, with a DEXA body scan. It’s a great way to track your progress or jumpstart your new health era.

Breakfast at Dialog Café

You’re sure to have worked up an appetite by now, so refuel your body with breakfast at Dialog Café. Choose from protein smoothies, egg-white scrambles and avocado toast while sipping a lavender latte or shaken strawberry oat matcha.

Recover at Remedy Place

Spend the rest of your morning being treated like an A-Lister at Remedy Place. Drake and Kim Kardashian are just two of the celebs who swear by Remedy’s cutting-edge treatments. Reduce post-workout muscle damage and soreness with a Guided Ice Bath, which combines breathwork with up to six-minute plunges in icy-cold water. Follow that with a session in the infrared sauna to detox your body, soothe your muscles and accelerate your metabolism.

Lunch at 1 Kitchen

Located inside the plush 1 Hotel West Hollywood, 1 Kitchen takes garden-to-table to new heights. Culinary Director Ginger Pierce works with local purveyors to craft farm-fresh dishes that will have you glowing from the inside out. For lunch, you can’t go wrong with fresh chickpea fritters and a strawberry-acai smoothie or a glass of cold-pressed juice.

Facial at Bamford Wellness Spa

Bamford Wellness Spa at 1 Hotel has been described as an “urban oasis,” and we couldn’t agree more. The spa menu offers a wide variety of treatments, from massages and Sound Wave Power Naps to Infrared Crystal Therapy Sauna sessions — but a facial will prepare you for a night out on the Sunset Strip. Get photo-ready with a Cryo T-Shock Facial, which will instantly have your skin feeling firmer and more sculpted.

Dinner at Pura Vita

Chef Tara Punzone shares her passion for healthy cuisine at Pura Vita, the first 100% plant-based Italian restaurant in the U.S. Start with grilled citrus herb tofu before savoring a slice of Lasagna Pura, stuffed with cashew-based cheeses, spinach and crimini mushrooms, or a margherita pizza topped with cashew mozz and macadamia parmigiano — best enjoyed with a glass of sustainable wine.

Dancing on the Sunset Strip

Sometimes the best cure for stress is to shake it loose. Since the 1920s, the Sunset Strip has been a mainstay of the LA nightlife scene. Catch a concert at Whisky a Go Go or The Roxy Theatre, whose stages have hosted the likes of AC/DC, Prince, David Bowie and Led Zeppelin.

Vibe to live DJs and sip on fancy cocktails at Skybar, the perennially popular rooftop lounge of the Mondrian Los Angeles. Dance the night away at one of the Strip’s hottest nightclubs, Keys. And end the evening with a nightcap at Bar Next Door, recently named one of Esquire magazine’s best bars in America.

Day 3: Sunday Reset

Clockwise from top left: The Spa at Sun Rose, Ole Henriksen, The Butcher’s Daughter

Rise & Shine at The Sun Rose West Hollywood

If you find yourself dragging after a late night out, The Sun Rose West Hollywood has everything you need to kick that hangover to the curb. Head to the hotel’s street-level cafe, Ospero, for egg-white frittatas and strawberry-coconut yogurt parfaits. After breakfast, check out The Spa at Sun Rose’s 90-minute Detox Body Wrap, featuring velvety foams and dry brushing for gentle exfoliation, a hydrating algae wrap and a revitalizing massage with red algae extracts.

Hike at Runyon Canyon Park

As the saying goes, “fresh air will do you good.” Continue your morning at Runyon Canyon Park, one of the top hiking areas in Los Angeles. Just a 10-minute drive from West Hollywood, the park has trails of varying difficulty, such as the East Ridge Trail — a 1.8-mile out-and-back that features scenic overlooks with panoramic views of the LA skyline and Santa Monica Mountains.

Sunday Brunch on Melrose

You’ll find several restaurants on Melrose Avenue specializing in brunch staples with a healthy twist. The Butcher’s Daughter serves vegan-friendly bites like smoothie bowls, buckwheat pancakes and savory mushroom toast. Great White’s salmon mezze, chickpea scramble and blue-algae smoothie bowl are not to be missed. And at nearby Zinqué, the quinoa breakfast burritos, smoked-salmon toast, and leek and gruyére quiche steal the show.

Even if it doesn’t, you might have seen Kris Jenner visit this Sunset Plaza spa a time or two on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” While best known for his skincare line, Henriksen’s flagship spa is one of the top places for a massage in all of Los Angeles.
