Fashionista Henry Ng’s Best West Hollywood Eats

The man behind fashion and lifestyle blog Street Style Poser shares picks for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Fashionistas can find inspiration anywhere, and style blogger and photographer Henry Ng found it while visiting West Hollywood’s stunning restaurants. Here are some of his top picks.

My Instagram may be peppered with style and fashion images, but like any foodie and dining lover, I’m obsessed with food and the joy it brings. West Hollywood has some of the best places to enjoy lunch like you live in the city or eat dinner in style—so let me show you where a fashionista eats in West Hollywood.

Zinque

I love experiencing my holidays like a local and there’s no better place to eat like one than at Zinque. A casual and contemporary bistro, this place serves gourmet sandwiches, tartines, and salads for the health conscious.

This place is so great that I go there for lunch twice! My pick is the quinoa salad with roasted beets, avocado and grated carrot, or the brown rice bowl with rocket (“arugula” for those in the states), chicken and sriracha if you want something with a spicy kick.

Make sure to get a table in the outdoor terrace to soak up the atmosphere and LA weather!

Rosaline

You can’t come to LA and not try South American cuisine. I found Rosaline for dinner, a modern Peruvian restaurant famed for its seafood and ceviches. The open kitchen adds to the atmosphere of the venue where guests can watch the chefs slice, cook, garnish and plate up.

E.P. & L.P.

Asian food is one of my weaknesses so it’s only natural that I seek that out during our time in West Hollywood. E.P. & L.P. is an urban Asian eating house that attracts the stylish.

Blending flavors like Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, and Fijian, my palate goes into overdrive with the Green Papaya Asian Slaw, Grilled Kingfish Salad and Baby Green Lip Abalone with Sweet Wasabi.

There’s also L.P., the rooftop bar that I check out for some cocktails before dinner. It oozes trendy appeal and is the perfect venue for catching up with friends and taking in the views of the Hollywood Hills!

Palihouse West Hollywood

I’m staying at Palihouse West Hollywood on this trip and Mardi, the hotel’s restaurant, deserves compliments as much as the hotel itself. The courtyard seating reminds me of a Parisian bistro and in the evening, comes to life with diners catching up and live acoustic music.

Verve Coffee

If you need a caffeine fix, I highly recommend Verve, a coffee shop known for its industrial chic design. Located on Melrose Avenue, enjoy an iced coffee and pastry on the outdoor patio when you’re done shopping at Helmut Lang and luxury boutique Maxfield.

Hit up some of my recommended eateries and experience West Hollywood like a fashionista.
