Halloween is the biggest night of the year in WeHo thanks to the famous West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval, but the city’s spooky spirit stretches far beyond that one epic night. All October long, West Hollywood becomes a playground for the ghoulish and glamorous — think glitter-drenched disco parties, eerie rooftop screenings, decadent masquerade dinners and wild bar crawls along the Sunset Strip. Tombstone Saloon Pop-Up Bar

This spooky season, the Heartbreak Saloon — normally a lively sports bar on Level 2 of EP & LP — undergoes a chilling transformation into the Tombstone Saloon, a haunted Western pop-up brimming with sinister sips, ghoulish décor, late-night DJs and witchy weekend brunches. What’s Halloween without a few spooky movies? Nestled in the West Hollywood Design District, the Melrose Rooftop Theatre offers a unique outdoor cinematic experience that utilizes wireless technology and individual headsets to deliver audio we can only describe as chillingly clear. Throughout October, dozens of Halloween favorites will be screened on the rooftop, including Practical Magic, The Exorcist, Saw, A Quiet Place and many more.

Youth Halloween Carnival

Hosted by the City of West Hollywood, this year’s Youth Halloween Carnival will be a spectacle of “eerie enchantment and thrilling excitement” featuring carnival games, arts and crafts, a trackless train and a Spooky Exhibit that blends fright and delight. Kids and pets are encouraged to show off their most creative costumes, while the main stage will showcase storytellers and performers from 2 to 5 p.m.
