Relax in the bright sunlight and balmy breezes of West Hollywood’s many parks and outdoor spaces. With a popular farmer’s market and tons of cafés to choose from, pick up your favorite eats and non-alcoholic drinks, then stroll over to a grassy spot to picnic in style!

Kings Road Park
Enjoy this quaint, pet-friendly neighborhood park, located within walking distance from Sunset Strip hotels.

Plummer Park
Lounge and picnic in this peaceful green space or come to play chess, basketball, and tennis with locals. You can even get a good work out on the chin up bars.

West Hollywood Library
When the West Hollywood Library’s remodel was completed in 2011, the Los Angeles Times called it one of “the most impressive pieces of public architecture to open in Southern California in a decade,” noting that its mismatch of styles and inspirations, ranging from Frank Gehry to Michelangelo, somehow all come together in a way that just works. If you need a little break from the sun, come here to thumb through some books and magazines or grab coffee and a bite in the downstairs cafe. The West Hollywood Park and the Pacific Design Center are next-door.

William S. Hart Park and Off-Leash Dog Park
Let your dog run free among the mulch and wood chips in this clean, well-kept park while you enjoy a little greenery. There are lots of benches for people, too.

Sal Guarriello Veterans Memorial –Lovely green space
This lovely green space doubles as a park and a memorial for U.S. veterans. It is named for Sal Guarriello (1919-2009), a WWII veteran, Purple Heart recipient, and former West Hollywood City Councilmember. He served as West Hollywood’s mayor four times, each term lasting one year.

A pocket park honoring Matthew Shepard and other gay men and women who lost their lives because they “sought to be true to themselves.”
