The West Hollywood Design District (WHDD) — home to the Pacific Design Center — is in the southwest corner of West Hollywood. Its northern border lies in between Santa Monica Boulevard and Melrose Avenue, and it stretches to Beverly Boulevard in the south. The district is framed by Doheny Drive to the west and La Cienega Boulevard to the east.
Explore more than 250 establishments in the West Hollywood Design District, from upscale art galleries and design studios to stylish shops, restaurants and cafes (with patio dining perfect for celeb-spotting). The district regularly hosts art walks, exhibitions and workshops, while its striking street murals — including the notoriously Instagrammable Paul Smith Pink Wall — offer plenty of opportunities for sightseeing and photos.
Melrose Avenue in the West Hollywood Design District is famous for shopping, with a wealth of fashion offerings ranging from Scandi styles and ethical jewelry to Art Deco interior-design showrooms and polished cafes. The street extends eastward outside of West Hollywood, where the street takes on a more eclectic character. 

Right on the West Hollywood border, beginning at La Cienega Boulevard, you’ll find Melrose Place, home to more trendy stores like Staud and Alfred Coffee. Stop by the Melrose Place Farmers Market on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to browse fresh produce and artisan goods.
Yes. Visitors are welcome to stroll the Pacific Design Center campus on weekdays (the PDC is closed on weekends). The center is known for its striking architecture, including its landmark blue-glass building, nicknamed the Blue Whale.

Any day of the week, don’t miss the ultra-trendy coffee kiosk out front, Community Goods. (Bonus: The wait here is usually shorter than at its main location a few blocks away on Edinburgh Avenue, where lines often wrap around the block!)
Yes. You’ll find parking aplenty in the West Hollywood Design District, including valet, parking garages, private lots and even limited free parking in some spots. Street parking is available at metered spaces, which accept credit cards or can be paid via mobile by texting 77447. Please note that West Hollywood parking meters do not use QR codes.
